Nooka have teamed up with supremebeing to bring you the latest in collaboration watches. What they decided to do was remix the Nooka Zot model face into a limited edition piece with the supremebeing camo text across the face of the watch. The LED display is integrated into the metal band which then depicts the numbers and therefore the time.

I’m not sure whether it would get annoying or not…we don’t know how you cause the LED lights to light up, and it could be like my G-shock 40 degree tilt and the light comes on automatically feature. Which is cool, and i love showing people…but when do I actually use it…rarely. I just wonder whether having an added step in finding out the time would get annoying, and outweigh the coolness of it.

The faceless watch is made from stainless steel and ABS resin, it comes in three colours, Silver, Black and Ultra Marine. There is no release date as yet, and no price. So keep checking 100% for details.

Being a huge fan of nice big G-shocks…its no wonder that I get excited for other brands when i see collabs with the masters of watchmaking Casio. Japanese brand, whiz, has collaborated with Casio G-Shock on this new DW-6900 watch that is due out next May. Although we are still months away from the release of the watch we already have some detailed pictures of the collaboration watch between the two brands. The watch comes in a solid Black color with small hits of White and Red. The face of the watch has minimal branding from whiz but one of the dope features is when the watch face is lit there is a whiz logo that appears. You can pick this up in May at LUMP. Big props to freshness for the hook up on this one.

After its recent collaborations with LTD and Hellz Bellz, watch maker NOOKA teamed up with designer and retailer Kidrobot in producing a limited edition timepiece.  Based on the popular NOOKA Zub model with the signature Zen-H watch face, the NOOKA x Kidrobot - Koolabooration Zub Watch will feature an offset print of the famous “Kid Robot”  on the wrist band.  With only 1000 units available, the watch is scheduled to release at Kidrobot locations and online next week, follow by a wider product launch by NOOKA end of this month. It’s been a big year in terms of collaborations and successful releases for Nooka. Well, to keep things going, they recently teamed up with LTD Magazine to produce these unique watches. Called the ‘Invisible Warrior’, the watch band features a black and white camoflauge print. This print is going to be used on upcoming collaborations with Nooka, and is even said to be used on an upcoming sneaker with Etnies Plus. Nooka has tapped Hellz Bellz to design a special edition unisex watch that showcases black metal mesh strap detail and a purple and blue design, with reminiscent of a galaxy far off in space. The celestial design is limited to 200 pieces and the suggested retail price is $300. Look out for the Hellz Zoo Watch come November!

Fresh off the heels from its own 25th anniversary for G-Shock, Casio announced its very first collaboration with American Rag Cie (AMC) in creating a commemorative G-Shock model for AMC’s upcoming 10th anniversary. Constructed around the popular G-Shock model DW-5600, the Casio x American Rag Cie G-Shock is fairly simple fare, with a matte black finish - a reflection of American Rag Cie’s contemporary design towards its clothing. Etched on the back plate is the AMC’s insignia. Features include Water Resistant - Up To 20 Atmospheric Bars, time count down function, and the famous G-Shock “shock dampening” casing. Scheduled to launch on November 15th at all American Rag Cie retail locations, the timepiece is currently available for pre-order reservation on American Rag Cie’s online store in ZOZOTOWN shopping network.
