My next favorite place in the world, or more specifically in Americardenia was Silverlake. Full to busting with hipsters, fixed gears, wierd looking and wierdly dressed people. It was wonderful. It also happens to be home to Intelligentsia LA, my number 1 coffee shop…ever. 4 of the top 5 barista’s at the world barista championships work at Intelligentsia LA. Now take that sucka.

Nearly forgot to mention in my caffeine fuelled rant….UNDFTD everybody….

This is exciting, on February 7th ‘09, Puma will release the 24k collection in collaboration with Undefeated. These kicks look amazing, the detailing is subtle and sublime and the pack generally just looks top notch. Consisting of blue, white, black and red colourways and all perforated with golden logos, this is pure magic from Puma and Undefeated.

Then check out the final addition to the 24k Collection, these Gold bad boys. We haven’t got a release date for these, and they may be different from the others in the pack, but keep hoping that these are available with the rest of the pack and wasn’t just a promo or limited edition run. I’m in love.

Here is a sound looking lineup of hats from UNDFTD for their Spring/Summer ‘09 collection. We can see that there are some snap-backs, New Eras, and what looks like a structured 5 panel…maybe. They are guaranteed to be a massive HIT and will be available in numerous colourways. Keep checking for these mothers…

UNDFTD has just launched Version 21 of their ongoing Billboard Project that has been a collaboration between the Los Angeles based sneaker boutique/brand and Nike. The newest billboard features a photograph of Jim Brown shot by legendary photographer, Neil Leifer. If you’re a subcriber of Sports Illustrated you should be familiar with Leifer’s work as he has shot over 150 different covers for the magazine.

UNDFTD have taken the simple road on their latest collection of New Era’s. The Monochrome pack features a solid crown with the strikeout logo on the front panels. Coming in five colorways: Red, Black, Navy, Purple and Green. Available this Saturday at all Undefeated chapter and online stores.

This is pretty huge, one of my favourite companies UNDFTD are collaborating with shoe giant Converse to produce a shoe called ‘Poorman’s Weapon’. Poorman’s Weapon is a rejig of the Hi-Top Chuck’s. The shoe is mainly black nylon with the HOT looking orange interior. Like the New Balance concept which we have shown you in earlier blogs, these shoes feature removable embroidered patches. Early 2009 these should be dropping at UNDFTD retailers…

UNDFTD Japan will be releasing this new Blood Sport T-Shirt in three different colorways, Black, White, and Grey this weekend at their UNDFTD Japan Chapter stores and dealers. The t-shirt has Sport written on the front of the tee in “blood splatter” in addition to the UNDFTD Strike logo on the back center of the tee. We’re guessing the inspiration may have came from the “300? movie poster.

UNDFTD has just released a new t-shirt dubbed the “Peace Tee” and available in three different colors including, Black, White, and Aqua. This tee features the words “Undefeated” and “Peace” screenprinted across the front of the shirt from sleeve to sleeve in a script font. You can pick up this Peace Tee now at all UNDFTD US Chapter stores as well as the UNDFTD e-store.

UNDFTD was one of the adidas Consortium retailers selected to participate in the adidas AZX collaboration project and while their adidas ZX 8000 is arguably one of the best pairs out of the entire collection, UNDFTD decided to take it a step further by releasing a longsleeve tee to match the kicks. The longsleeve tee will be available in a tonal Orange color that matches the Orange used on the shoes or a Gray and Lime color where the Lime matches the laces used on the shoes. Pick either colorway or both up at all US UNDFTD chapter stores this Saturday, October 18th or via the UNDFTD e-store.
