Super are the next eyewear brand who’re recently released their Spring/Summer Eyewear Collection, and there’s some snaps below that Hundreds posted up on their blog. There are around 15 different models and colorways, big dogs in the eyewear scene. The top of the range Carl Zeiss lenses are a standard and are all handmade with Super LOVE. These should drop sooooooon. Look for them.

Here we say a big welcome to 9five Eyewear, who are pretty new to the eyewear game. They have released 3 styles for Spring ‘09 which include The Major, Butters, and Cult Classic. I love the red and black Cult Classic’s, they’re incredibly HOT. 9Five have brought a new look to the shades game, and they will be making noise in the future. Very impressive.

Here is a collaboration being released between Super and VNGRD. They have worked together to produce a pair of sunglasses which very much resembling Ray-Bans. The exterior of the frame features an all-over forest graphic, while the interior is solid Purple. The lenses are made of high-quality Zeiss lenses, so as well as looking good, they also are a quality pair of sunnies. These are limited to only 50 pieces, and are available now over atSuper.

Oakley have been busy at work with numerous collab’s and drops, and here we can see images from their Jan ‘09 releases. Oakley are keeping it classic with the colourway on these already classic Frogskins. And by the looks of it, the Turqoise pair have interchangeable arms that will come in White. We don’t know whether every pair will have interchangeable arms…but if we hear…you’ll hear. These are nice, turqoise pair please.

Ok so this is pretty dang cool. You need to get your arty farty hats on, grab the numerous markers that come with the kit, and you can create your very own custom Ray Ban’s. With so many collab’s and variations on these released already this year, this one is definitely the most creative…incredibly looking shades…and a lot of fun customing your very own pair. Sunglasses manufacturer, Sabre, have just released a new set of colorway options for one of their earliest creations entitled Poolside to add to their Fall/Winter 2008 Collection. The frames themselves are already very retro and these new colorway options add a bit more to that retro flavor. The multi-colored pair look very similar to the Oakley Frogskin’s that Andrew Peterson recently designed. The 3 new colorway options are available with mirrored lenses now at STLESS, while the original 7 colorways can be purchased at Sabre’s Online Store. [thehundreds]

Cassius Eyewear was founded by Jason Ng and has referenced this Fall/Winter 2008 Collection to the look and attitude of the 1960’s and 70’s. The items from this collection offer very clean lines and functionality at the same time. Each frame is handcrafted from European acetate and fitted with CR39 protected lenses with a rating of UV400. In a very bold but smart move, each style is limited in number to only 300 pieces. Cassius Eyewear are making moves to be the standout eyewear brand of the year. Visvim announced earlier on in the year that they’d be teaming up with Dita to create a new pair of sunglasses. These sunglasses are ultra classy in appearance and look very similar to the Super For Highsnobiety pair that I posted in regards to weeks back. Colorways include a black fleece pair and also a dark tortoise frame. In a bold move, Dita decided not to offer these pairs online but only to accounts that they consider premium and also at their flagship stores - Dita Legends.
