I’ve not extended my sneaker wardrobe to a pair of Puma Hi-top’s yet, I came close with the St Patricks Green and Gold high tops that were released earlier this year, but never took the plunge. These may just end up being the pair I lose my Puma Hi-top virginity to. Puma x Mihara. The Japanese designer has been with PUMA for around 10 years. His unconventional designs showcase his creativity for the PUMA style. The melting effect in this release can also be seen and observed. The only difference with this one is that it’s starting from the heel of the midsole area and causing the appearance to look warped. This is an incredible looking shoe, and I want it right now.

This is exciting, on February 7th ‘09, Puma will release the 24k collection in collaboration with Undefeated. These kicks look amazing, the detailing is subtle and sublime and the pack generally just looks top notch. Consisting of blue, white, black and red colourways and all perforated with golden logos, this is pure magic from Puma and Undefeated.

Then check out the final addition to the 24k Collection, these Gold bad boys. We haven’t got a release date for these, and they may be different from the others in the pack, but keep hoping that these are available with the rest of the pack and wasn’t just a promo or limited edition run. I’m in love.

Puma did justice to making the Limited Edition shoes for the 1985 smash hit film “The Goonies.”
The design and artwork done by PUMA is just outstanding. The overall theme of the shoe just matches the movie. Even the tiny details on the shoe from the heel to the toe was placed there for a reason and that is to bring back memories of the good ‘ol movie. PUMA constructed this from the shoe map the PUMA Disc Blaze which features the PUMA Disc closure system and they now incorporated the Exclusive Goonies film logos on the heel, sockliner and midsole. This will be released on the Dec 6 and the price is to be announced.

For their yet another First Round Edition, Puma gets us ready and dressed up (or at least on the sole) to welcome the upcoming Chinese New year or the so-called Spring festival on the 29th of January, this year of the Ox. Wishing you good luck for the new year are two colorways- the black/coffee and the burgundy/red- both giving emphasis to the Chinese Calendar fastened craftily on the tongue. These mothers are retailing for €109.90.

The Yo! MTV Raps Puma Collection continues. They’ve done it again with a new version of the Puma Stepper x Yo MTV Raps. This time the Stepper comes in a mostly black and white upper with lime and pink Puma logos, yep lime on the outer face and pink on the inner face of the foot. The colorway seems to offset the previous version of the Stepper to come from the Yo! x Puma collaboration.

The collaboration helps celebrate the twenty year anniversary of the hip hop series on MTV, which first aired back in 1988. Not sure how many old school hip hop heads would approve, but you can pick these up now at Mita Sneakers.

The ’80s look is everywhere!! This is the Unlimited High tops from Puma. It highlights a black/red pallette and croc skin around the ankle and toe. It is also available in Purple/Orange colorways.
