As part of their CRYSTALLIZED project, Swarovski worked with 12 Tokyo brands (3.1 phillip lim, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, Casely-Haford, CICATA, Inpaichthys kerri, John Lawrence Sullivan, Kitsune, Sabatino, SOE, ts(s)) on special product collaboration.  The line-up is rather impressive.

Today we get a first detailed look at their work with visvim. Together they worked on footwear and on clothing, of course all decorated with Swarovski rhinestones. In terms of footwear they present the Maliseet Elk-Folk and the Skagway. Furthermore the capsule collection consists of denim jackets, pants, t-shirts, belts and more.

Keep your eyes peeled because so far there is no word, whether the collaboration will actually be released.

This week brings the release of a very special T-shirt collaboration between Diamond Supply Co. and The Hundreds.

The two brands teamed up to celebrate America’s favorite pastime, going head to head, and bringing their best baseball-inspired iconography to the table, including the “Diamond” name in classic lettering, and “The Hundreds” also in a baseball inspired graphic style. The graphic features a baseball diamond in the center, with baseball-y versions of each company’s mascot on either side. The left sleeve print features a “D” and a “TH” separated by two crossed bats over the phrase, “West Coast Sluggers.”

Available in black, purple, red, and white. These colors are available this Thursday, 8/27 at THSF, THLA, and online next Thursday, 9/3. So after my scouting trip to UNIQLO, i went with my cash in hand and ready to drop yen like there was no japanese tomorrow. I ended up buying some sick basketball shorts, polo, tees and slippers. Magic. I have blogged about UNIQLO’s collabs before, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on some today. They have done a collab with some of the most famous design magazines around, one from 5 different countries, with England’s representative being Grafik (now i didn’t buy the tee which was black on black flock…but I’m sure they’re incredible designers). Here are a few snaps of my incredible 16L rucksac that i got too.

I LOVE YOU UNIQLO

OK people, now these kicks are uber HOT. DC Shoes have given the creative reigns over to Lemar and Dauley and they have struck gold. This new classic ‘09 sneaker release dubbed the ‘Admiral’ is coming out as a part of The Life Collection, which is DC’s first full line of fashion, art, and music inspired footwear pieces. The Life Collection’s fashion inspirations can be identified through the usage of unique and quality materials, classic patterns with modern twists and original colourways, and you don’t get much more classic than some sick DC’s sporting the Lemar and Dauley houndstooth.

The Regatta sail boat is the muse behind this latest design. Through this concept, L&D takes the inner-city dweller and mentally “shifts” them from a hustle-and-bustle metropolis to a tranquil, nautical setting.

The Lemar & Dauley imprint illustrates the labelling often detailed on the side of the Regatta sail boats. L&D’s trademark– the houndstooth pattern, adorns the tongue of the sneaker. The metal plate embossed with the Braille and the reflective tap, personify the human senses to touch, and to see; whether near clear blue salt lake water, or walking through the glass doors of a high-rise building on to busy streets.

This is exciting, on February 7th ‘09, Puma will release the 24k collection in collaboration with Undefeated. These kicks look amazing, the detailing is subtle and sublime and the pack generally just looks top notch. Consisting of blue, white, black and red colourways and all perforated with golden logos, this is pure magic from Puma and Undefeated.

Then check out the final addition to the 24k Collection, these Gold bad boys. We haven’t got a release date for these, and they may be different from the others in the pack, but keep hoping that these are available with the rest of the pack and wasn’t just a promo or limited edition run. I’m in love.

Alife has been let loose on another Reebok shoe. This time its the Reebok CLassic, a staple shoe style for the brand through the years. With Alife’s hand at work, the shoe is made of embossed leather, and feature the Alife cursive embroidery, commonly seen on Reebok collabs. These kicks also have the Alife tag on the underside of the tongue. The pair comes with 3 different lace sets, to match any colour scheme desired. They are available in whte, grey and black and you can get these bad boys at SIZE? [freshness]

The DW-6900DQM-7JR means Dave’s Quality Meat (DQM) is the next brand to join the ranks of the new designer editions from Casio G-Shock collection. Part of the G-Shock 25th Anniversary Edition with director Spike Lee. The DQM Edition features a bi-color casing of beige watch face and black brace, along with an DQM engraved back plate and a DQM hologram EL (Electroluminescent) back light. [freshness]

The first release from New Balance’s Globabl Partnership Program, is this Collaboration with Alife on the 1300 series. All 3 sneakers feature suede and mesh and come in a variety of teal, grey and white colorways. This will be available in extremely limited quantities in Malaysia and Singapore. [soleredemption]

Here is a collaboration being released between Super and VNGRD. They have worked together to produce a pair of sunglasses which very much resembling Ray-Bans. The exterior of the frame features an all-over forest graphic, while the interior is solid Purple. The lenses are made of high-quality Zeiss lenses, so as well as looking good, they also are a quality pair of sunnies. These are limited to only 50 pieces, and are available now over atSuper.

So check this collab coming from Flight Club New York, a spalding freaking basketball, thats hot. Flight Club are slated to release their very own Spalding basketball, featuring a cement print. Obviously these basketballs are inspired by Jordans. There is no official release date as of yet, so sit tight, but be impressed. Be very impressed.
