Hot on the heels of BBB we got some pics for you fun lovin’ fashionistas out there. Joystick Junkies kindly allowed us a guest pass on their stand, and we rinsed the opportunity. A few cervezas, magazines and seminars later, and we are fully kitted out with enough info to arm a small fashion army. We will post the pics here, but be assured of some more concise info and ideas in the months to follow. In a word BBB was HOT - both literally and figuratively, and now that the fun in the sun is over, Im about ready for a long overdue siesta…..bueno, hasta luego…….zzzz

So we have finished the website, and powered through the teething problems we were having with the RSS feed, and it is now fully operational and working extremely well…but what is RSS I hear you cry…

Well…RSS is short for Rich Site Summary, or Really Simple Syndication. RSS is an XML-based language which basically shows information from the web in a form that can be subscribed to in special news reader applications (or aggregators). RSS allows your news reader program to bring websites with news feeds coming out from them, directly to your computer automatically.

So what does that mean for you, our RISE fans? It means that you can download a free RSS reader application and add the feed address for RISE, and then every time we blog, it will automatically be updated in your reader.

You will be notified through the blog about everything important going on at RISE…festival news…new stock details…up and coming collections…new deals…special RISE info…and generally RISE family stuff.So get an aggregator, get hooked up…and save yourself the hassle of having to remember to check back on RISE every few days….and be prepared so you don’t miss out on that tee that you were waiting to buy, but missed out on because it sold out before you remembered to see whether it was in stock…

For Mac users, we would reccomend NewsFire which is a free app that is TOP. Google it and download it…PC users, just google RSS feed aggregator for PC….or something like that and go for it.
